200 HT LGR Dehumidifier
The Phoenix 200 HT is the ultimate in low grain refrigerant dehumidification and high temperature performance. The 200 HT is the first LGR dehumidifier designed to maintain maximum water removal capacity through ambient conditions up to 120°F.
The Phoenix 200 HT, featuring its patented technology, not only allows superior performance and greater CFMs in high ambient temperatures, but also exceeds the performance and efficiency of the original Phoenix 200 MAX under all conditions.
Faster Drying Means Happier Customers
The Phoenix 200 HT’s ability to perform in temperatures above 90°F offers two major advantages over other standard LGR’s. First, drying at higher temperatures speeds the evaporation of moisture in the structure when compared to cooler temperatures. Second, the Phoenix 200 HT reduces the need to remove drying equipment to control the temperature inside the affected area.
The downward-focused exhaust airflow directs dehumidified low-grain air toward the floor, while a raised base improves drying directly under the dehumidifier. The Phoenix 200 HT also features a recessed condensate outlet, inboard wheels, increased airflow with higher static pressure and an improved skid plate design.
As always, Phoenix dehumidifiers feature significant air filtration. The standard 65% MERV 11 filter removes over 90% of seven-micron particles (the size of a human red blood cell). This filtration improves the air quality in the areas being dried and assures the continued optimal performance of the refrigeration system.
The multiple ducting options on the Phoenix 200 HT allow for ducting both the intake air and the filtered, dehumidified exhaust air.
High Temperature Performance
The Phoenix 200 HT is designed to maintain water removal capacity up through 120°F. In order to accomplish this, Phoenix engineers created a highly effective method of bypassing ambient air over the condenser when ambient temperatures are above 80°F.
Above 80°F – When used in high temperature conditions (above 80°F), the refrigerant pressure inside the condenser rises. By removing the grain control magnet from the by-pass openings, additional airflow is directed over the condenser and less airflow is directed across the evaporator. This airflow lowers the refrigerant pressure in the condenser while also slowing down the air across the evaporator, which allows the air to reach its dew point.
Between 50°F and 80°F – When used in normal dehumidifier operating temperatures (50°F to 80°F), the grain control magnet should cover the bypass openings. This allows increased airflow across the evaporator and increases performance by increasing the amount of air that is dehumidified.
Below 50°F – When the Phoenix 200 HT is used in very cool operating temperatures (below 50°F), frost will form on the evaporator coil as it dehumidifies. When enough frost forms, the defrost thermostat will initiate the timed defrost cycle. The cycle periodically turns off the compressor while allowing the blower to run. The grain control magnet should cover the bypass openings in this operating range because the increased airflow and static pressure will help defrost the evaporator more quickly and efficiently.
200 MAX LGR Dehumidifier
High Capacity, Low Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifier
The Phoenix 200 MAX is one of the most effective and versatile drying devices available on the market today. The 200 MAX removes more water and has more grain depression than other refrigerant dehumidifiers, even though it only requires 7.4 amps of electricity. When you combine this performance with the multiple ducting and air filtration options, it is easy to understand why the Phoenix 200 MAX is considered the ultimate in low grain refrigerant dehumidification.
High-Efficiency Design
The term LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) was created to describe the unique drying capabilities of the Phoenix 200 dehumidifier. Beginning with the original Phoenix 200 LGR, these units were known for delivering substantially drier air, as well as for drying areas to much lower specific humidity levels than conventional dehumidifiers. The Phoenix 200 MAX, an improved version of the original Phoenix 200, is the culmination of eight years of LGR manufacturing and design expertise.
As always, Phoenix dehumidifiers feature significant air filtration. This filtration dramatically improves the air quality in the areas being dried and assures the continued optimal performance of the refrigeration system.
The Phoenix 200 MAX offers multiple filter options. While MERV-6 and MERV-8 still can be used, Phoenix has raised the bar and now includes standard in all 200 MAX a 65% MERV-11. The optional 95% MERV-14 will remove particles as small as .3 microns.
Versatile and Durable
The multiple ducting options on the Phoenix 200 MAX allow for ducting both the intake air and the filtered and dehumidified supply air. This makes it possible to easily combine the Phoenix 200 MAX with a HEPA air scrubber, air conditioner or desiccant dehumidifier.
270 HTx LGR Dehumidifier
The Phoenix 270HTx is one of the most effective and versatile drying devices available. The Phoenix 270HTx features more water removal (161 pints per day@AHAM) and higher grain depression than other refrigerant dehumidifiers, while drawing only 8.9 amps of electricity.
The 270HTx features Phoenix’s patented bypass design, which is now enhanced to compensate for temperature automatically. By sensing and adjusting to temperature changes in the drying chamber, the 270HTx maximizes water removal over an extended operating range without the need for manual adjustments.
At higher temperatures, where typical LGRs lose effectiveness, the Phoenix 270HTx automatically adjusts to continue removing moisture. This offers several advantages to the restorer, including faster evaporation rates, quicker drying, and elimination of the need to remove or modify equipment for temperature control.
The downward-focused exhaust airflow directs dehumidified low grain air toward the floor, while a raised base improves drying directly under the dehumidifier. The Phoenix 270HTx also features a recessed condensate outlet, inboard wheels, increased airflow with higher static pressure and an improved skid plate design.
300 LGR Dehumdifier
The Phoenix 300 LGR Dehumidifier, designed for the larger water damage restoration project, is a very high capacity unit capable of extracting over 300 pints per day at saturation. Its LGR technology makes it an efficient unit to operate and effective at lowering specific humidity. The heavyweight of the Phoenix range the 300 is nevertheless easily portable and relatively compact for its power. Thoughtfully designed, with the needs of the water damage restoration specialist in clear focus, this unit has all the features and performance required for demanding restoration jobs.
The Phoenix 300 LGR Dehumidifier will remove 176 pints of moisture from the air every 24 hours at 80°F and 60% relative humidity. These conditions are prescribed by AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) as a standard for comparing dehumidifiers. In more extreme conditions, such as may be encountered in some restoration jobs, the 300 will extract even more, rising to 232 pints at 80°F/80%RH and 304 pints at 90°F/90%RH.
This massive water extraction power is achieved using a single 15amp/110v circuit and reflects Phoenix’s design aim to achieve maximum water extraction from a standard circuit. This allows the unit to be utilized at almost any location and to deal with the drying of large areas.
Solution Performance Amplifier
A New Era in LGR Technology
The new Phoenix Solution LGR performance amplifier widens the effective operating range of LGR dehumidifiers, increases grain depression, and improves water removal rates up to 100 percent.
The Solution is a specially designed intercooler that pre-cools the incoming air stream to the LGR dehumidifier. This pre-cooling is the same process that provides LGR dehumidifiers with their leap in performance over conventional dehumidifiers. The Solution is designed to take advantage of outside, unaffected or air-conditioned air to provide significant water removal in drying conditions up to 140°F. Therma-Stor testing has revealed an increase in water removal rates and faster drying times using the Solution by utilizing cold outside air.
The Phoenix Solution marks a new era in LGR dehumidifier performance. Since the pre-cooling function of the Solution actually removes BTUs from the drying area, it reduces the dependence on air conditioning and the need to sacrifice drying equipment to maintain your optimal drying conditions. The Solution enables significant dehumidification while taking advantage of ultra-fast, high-temperature drying rates. This high-temperature dehumidification performance is an upgrade to heat-only drying equipment which is otherwise limited by high dewpoint conditions. When outside grain levels are high, the Solution allows dehumidification to enhance the drying process.
The Solution improves the grain depression of the dehumidified air. This increases the vapor pressure differential (the key to evaporation) up to 33% and accelerates the drying process. This improves drying times in all classes of water damage but is particularly beneficial in specialty drying applications, such as hardwood floors.
The Solution is designed to nest into the top of the Phoenix HT and 200 Max and is constructed of the same quality materials. The increased operating efficiency of the dehumidifier provided by the Solution is often equal to the 1.6 amp power requirement of the unit. The Solution is easy to carry and stacks for transportation and storage.
The Phoenix Solution is easy to set-up. Simply remove the top and filter from the Phoenix 200 Max or HT, install the dehumidifier bracket, set the Solution into the top opening of the dehumidifier and slide forward into the capture guides on the dehumidifier bracket. Then, duct the inlet air of the Solution to either an outside, unaffected or air-conditioned source, and duct the outlet of the Solution back to the same source.

Centrifugal Air Movers
The most airflow for the fewest amps of any centrifugal
Low amp draw (UNDER 3 AMPS!), balanced airflow characteristics and maximum velocities of 975 CFM, over 2,700 FPM are the foundation on which the Phoenix Centrifugal Air Mover is built. We made sure the body was the most rugged and durable it could be, to stand up to the rigors of the restoration industry.
Getting more equipment into the drying chamber is always a challenge. The typical household electrical system cannot support the amount of equipment needed to dry the structure quickly and efficiently ensuring a nonstop search for equipment that provides both performance and low amp draw.
The unique 1/3 horsepower design of the Phoenix Centrifugal Air Mover coupled with a two-speed switch allows the restoration technician to deliver the most airflow using the fewest amps. The maximum amp draw on high speed is 2.8 amps. Minimum amp draws on low speed is a mere 2.4 amps. This means that it is now possible to fit as many as four centrifugal air movers onto a typical 15 amp household circuit. If you attempt four centrifugal from our competition, we recommend you locate the breaker box first.
The CAM housing is washable, durable, chemical resistant, and multi-positionable. In addition, molded-in runners allow for the air mover to be positioned horizontally, 45° and 90° angles.
The CAM Pro features an on-board duplex GFCI outlet and circuit breaker.
Stackable CAM and CAM Pro
Lower Amps, Higher CFM, Stacks 4 High – The New Stackable CAM and CAM Pro from Phoenix
The Phoenix Stackable CAM and CAM Pro utilize an innovative stable, stackable design. With multiple contact points and interlocking side grills, the Phoenix Stackable CAM Pro can be stacked safely and securely up to 4 units high, freeing up valuable space in your trucks and warehouses.
The Phoenix Stackable CAM and CAM Pro feature a unique 1/3 horsepower motor design and proprietary blower technology, that provides more airflow, higher static pressure, and lower amp draw. At 1050 CFM, over 2800 FPM, and using only 2.6 amps the Phoenix Stackable CAM and CAMPro deliver 12% more CFM, while drawing 35% less electricity than the leading competitive centrifugal on both High Speed and Low Speed (2.0 amps on low). With the low amp draw and onboard GFCI, the Phoenix Stackable CAM Pro gives you maximum airflow on a circuit, allowing up to 4 CAMs on a standard 15 amp household circuit (or up to 6 on low speed).
The Phoenix Stackable CAM housing is durable, washable, and chemical resistant. It features multiple operating positions of horizontal, vertical, and 45-degree angles. Like all Phoenix air movers, the Stackable CAM and CAM Pro are ETL Listed, and UL Certified.
The Phoenix Stackable CAM is lightweight and properly balanced for easy handling and features the added convenience features of a lighted plug for confirming power at the outlet and superior cord management for better, packing and storage.
Air Scrubbers
Guardian HEPA System
True 1400 CFM Air Scrubber
The Phoenix Guardian HEPA System was the first portable air scrubbing device designed exclusively for the restoration industry. The Guardian can perform several critical air quality remediation functions simultaneously.
The Guardian HEPA System captures virtually all removable airborne particles. The optional 4-stage absorption filter contains a blend of activated carbon and potassium permanganate to remove airborne odors and chemicals.
The true 1400 cfm capacity of the Phoenix Guardian HEPA System will clean one air change of a 12 x 14 foot room in less than a minute. In order to be effective, an air scrubber should be able to perform a minimum of four air changes per hour. Therefore, a single Guardian can be expected to control up to 21,000 cubic feet.
The Guardian’s high airflow and multiple ducting options allow for the combination of negative or positive airflow control of an area and containment air scrubbing at the same time. This provides the unique ability to continually filter the indoor air and depressurize the damaged site to prevent the spread of contamination simultaneously.
The Guardian’s intake will accept either 18 flex duct or 12 flex-duct with the included adapter, to pressurize areas for protection from contamination or to draw contaminated air from areas that are difficult to access or too small to accommodate an air scrubbing device.
Every Guardian HEPA System comes with one 14? lay-flat duct ring, for 100% negative air operation, and two 10? lay-flat duct rings for a combination of negative air, air scrubbing or positive airflow.
Optional Activated Carbon & Potassium Permanganate Filtration
The Guardian Carbon Filter Frames are an improved way to provide gas and odor filtration. The 20-gauge galvanized metal frames are available in 24? x 24? x 2? (Part No. 4024764) for the Guardian HEPA System. The Carbon and Potassium Permanganate media to fill the frames is available in 30-pound buckets (Part No. 4024528).
There are several advantages to using the Carbon Filter Frames instead of manufactured carbon filters:
- The media will stay “fresher” stored in the 5 gallon bucket
- Loading the filter by the job provides the opportunity to adjust the amount of media for the specific job
- Substantial savings are realized by using the filter frame over manufactured carbon filters
- Replacement foam liners and honeycomb inserts are also available
Mini-Guardian HEPA System
True 415 CFM Air Scrubber
The Phoenix Guardian HEPA System was the first portable air scrubbing device designed exclusively for the restoration industry. The Guardian can perform several critical air quality remediation functions simultaneously.

Mini-Guardian HEPA System
True 415 CFM Air Scrubber
The Mini-Guardian HEPA System is the compact, variable air speed version of our popular Phoenix Guardian HEPA System that offers fully variable air flow.
Maximum delivered airflow with 3-stage filtering in place is over 415 CFM and will clean one air change of a 14 x 14-foot room in less than four minutes while drawing less than two amps of power. This makes the Mini-Guardian perfect for smaller remediation projects where space is at a premium and reduced airflow essential. A template on the intake grill makes it possible to take air-flow measurements with the Phoenix Reed Meter.
The Mini-Guardian’s 3-stage filter design with true HEPA filtration will remove virtually all hazardous particles from the air and an optional fourth stage filter of activated carbon and potassium permanganate will absorb a wide range of odors and gases. The unique 24? canister, HEPA manufactured for the Mini-Guardian, contains nearly 200 square feet of surface area. This allows maximum air-flow and significantly extends filter life.
The Mini-Guardian’s unique duct discharge collar allows some filtered air to be directed to specific areas or outside as negative air providing the ability to operate as a negative air machine. By exhausting a portion of the airflow, the Mini-Guardian continues to scrub and recirculate a volume of the air inside. This prevents spreading the contamination to other areas and quickly improves air quality at the damage site.
Just like the original Phoenix Guardian HEPA System, the Mini-Guardian features a durable, stainless steel cabinet, hour meter, ductable in-take, and exhaust, and wheeled cart design. The Mini-Guardian can be operated vertically or horizontally and takes up less than half the floor space of the larger Guardian.
GuardianR Pro HEPA System

Water Extractors
Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor
Superior Water Extraction Tool
The Phoenix Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor is the most effective and efficient extraction tool on the market today. The Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor’s patented Suction Roller provides both suction and compression – forcing water to the surface then pulling the water away, not allowing the water to be reabsorbed back into the carpet and pad. No other extractor today can pull as much water from the carpet and pad as the Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor.
The Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor is steerable and self-propelled with variable speeds. One restoration technician can operate the unit and dry a 1200 sq. ft. structure with carpet and pad in under 2 hours!
Insurance companies recognize the Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor as the best tool on the market and allow for “special extraction tool” rates, sometimes up to three times higher rates per sq. ft. than regular extraction tools.
The Society for Cleaning Restoration Technicians, formerly ISCT, performed a market study of extraction devices at Shaw Industries. In that independent study of restoration professionals, the Hydro-X Xtractor with the Hydro-X Vac Pac pulled more water out of the carpet and pad than any other product on the market, in one case pulling 40 gallons (or 320 pints) more water out of the structure than the next best tool.
The Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor tool can be connected with the Hydro-X Vacuum Pac, other portable extractors, or truck mounts. However, the SCRT W.E.T. Study showed the best performance is when combined with the Hydro-X Vacuum Pac.
Industry experts agree that it is quicker to extract water than to evaporate— if you want to cut days off of your drying process, a Hydro-X Xtractor is a necessity.
Hydro-X Vacuum Pac
The Phoenix Hydro-X Vacuum Pac outperforms the competition by its ability to apply all of its suction power at the source, pulling more water than any other restoration extraction tool on the market today.
The Vacuum Pac, with it’s patented, portable design and high-end technology, has two powerful vacuum motors that can generate maximum suction. And because it is portable, the Vacuum Pac can be hand-carried anywhere in a structure. Truckmount units must stay outside the structure, and every foot of hose deducts 1 cfm of vacuum power. When compared to truck mount units, the Vac Pac can apply all of its suction power right at the source of the water, losing no cfm due to 24, 50 or 100 ft. of hose.
The Society for Cleaning Restoration Technicians (SCRT), formerly ISCT, performed a market study of extraction devices at Shaw Industries. In that independent study by restoration professionals, the Hydro-X Xtractor with Hydro-X Vac Pac pulled more water out of the carpet and pad than any other product on the market today, in one case pulling over 40 gallons or 320 pints more water out of the structure than the next best tool. How much longer would it have taken to dehumidify 40 gallons (320 pints) of water if the restorer had not used the Hydro-X. This study looked at using truck mounts with different extraction tools. In every case, the Hydro-X Vacuum Pac extracted more water with the different extraction tools than the truck mount with the same or similar tools.
The Vacuum Pac can be run separate from the Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor and can run with standard wands, water claws, and any other extraction tool allowing for a 2 in. connector.
Portable Truckmount Performance
The patented Hydro-X Vacuum Pac was designed to provide suction power superior to any other portable or truckmount unit on the market today.
Any standard extraction tool, from a wand to a water claw, to the Hydro-X Xtreme Xtractor can be combined with the Vacuum Pac allowing for extraction on hard-surfaced floors and hard to reach areas for the Xtreme Xtractor.

Quick Chamber System
Effective and Efficient System For Creating a Grain Barrier
The Phoenix Quick Chamber, designed with the Restoration Professional in mind, is an easy way to create an effective drying chamber that will completely contain a water loss affected area within minutes. This containment can be accomplished practically anywhere in the structure (e.g., hallway, doorway, etc.) simply by sealing open thresholds and passageways. The Quick Chamber not only incorporates durability in its construction and installation but flexibility in its application. It has been specifically designed to be installed by one person, so an effective drying chamber can be set up by an individual rather than a team.
Once installed, the Quick Chamber will restrict moisture transfer into and out of the water loss affected area. This will also stop secondary damage at the beginning of the job, and later enhance the dry-down by preventing moist air from migrating into your drying chamber. Don’t waste valuable dehumidifying capacity–minimize the area that you need to dry. By staying focused on just the affected area, you can free up the necessary equipment needed to move on to the next job.
Each step in the drying process is important, and the first step – creating a drying chamber – is no exception. Every water restoration team should have a Phoenix Quick Chamber System in their truck.

Axial Air Mover, 50 Hz
Maximum Air Flow with Low Amps
The Phoenix 50 Hz Axial Air Mover (AAM) is the industry’s only Air Mover specifically engineered with patented FOCUS™ Technology, The FOCUS corner revolutionized evaporative drying by producing effective air velocities over a larger area than competitive products. This highly focused airflow is directed towards the most difficult areas to dry namely, carpet and cushion, sub-floor, sill plate, and walls. No other fan dries the sill plate as fast! Finally, the Phoenix 50Hz Axial Air Mover with FOCUS Technology sustains these air velocities further than any other 50Hz Axial Air Mover.
The Phoenix 50 Hz Axial Air Mover includes a 2-speed motor delivering a focused airstream of approximately 4900 m3/hr. (2900 cfm), lightweight stackable enclosure designed to fit existing vehicle rigging, superior cord management and hour meter.
Conventional axial air movers create a circular air jet and the only way to get air into the square corner is to point the fan in the direction of the corner. This angle wastes valuable air velocity and effective distance. FOCUS Technology creates an air jet with a square corner, resulting in an optimized drying ability. In addition, the 50 Hz Axial Air Mover features built-in 4.5° positioning which increases the fan’s effective drying distance. The Phoenix 50 Hz AAM is another example of superior performance and innovative design from Phoenix engineering.
